The Karachi American School (KAS) offers a distinctive American educational experience in the heart of Pakistan. Founded in 1953, KAS serves both the expatriate community and host country nationals with a curriculum designed to prepare students for admission to colleges and universities in the United States and internationally. The school follows an American college preparatory program culminating in Advanced Placement (AP) courses, fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity and critical thinking. The campus is set on approximately 25 acres and features extensive facilities including tennis and squash courts, a swimming pool, athletic fields, and specialized art and science laboratories. KAS is a member of the South Asia Inter-School Association (SAISA), which allows students to travel and compete in athletic and creative arts festivals across the region. With a mission to cultivate intellect, character, and creativity, KAS provides a supportive, inclusive environment where students are encouraged to become responsible global citizens.
