English is the primary language of communication and instruction at USP. All students study Spanish and Mandarin. Social studies classes required by the Ministry of Education of Panama are taught in Spanish. First language maintenance is the responsibility of the USP parent community, and other languages may be offered as part of the ECA program to support English proficiency.

Mandarin is taught in five phases with cultural context, while Spanish follows Panamanian standards to develop grammar, writing, reading, and vocabulary. Technology is integrated across the curriculum, with iPads and MacBooks in classrooms, MindTap resources, and i-Ready differentiation.
