Arts and Creative

ADCA Música is an extracurricular music program. The site includes a page for ADCA Música and a page for the Festival de Música ADCA 2017, indicating music events are organized under this program. The program supports student participation in music activities and performances. The ADCA Música pages document music events at the school.

Cultural and Language

Deutsch-Peruanischer Schüleraustausch mit dem Bundesland Nordrhein-Westfalen (German-Peruvian student exchange with the state of North Rhine-Westphalia) is offered. The exchange tradition has existed since 1976. It provides ninth- through eleventh-grade students the opportunity to live with German host families and attend school during January–March. The program helps students live the German language, improve speaking and writing skills, prepare for the Sprachdiplom II, participate in classes at German schools, and develop intercultural competence.

Social and Hobbies

The school operates Die Pfadfinder (the Scout Group) Miraflores 57, which has existed since 1965 and is supported by the Alexander von Humboldt School. The group participates in national and international events and meets in Peru and with other Scout groups. It is organized into Pack (ages 8–10) meeting Saturdays 10:00–12:00; Troop (ages 11–15) meeting Saturdays 10:00–13:00; Clan (ages 16–21) meeting Saturdays 11:30–14:30.

Community and Service

Social projects are run in multiple communities, including Julcamarca, Puno; Kinderdorf Westfalia; Tablad a de Lurín; Ciudad de los Niños; Hospital del Niño; Colegio San Francisco de Asís; and El Niño Emanuel. These projects are part of the school's community service activities.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

Schwimmakademie provides swimming lessons for students under 18. Enrollment runs March 4–6, with classes starting March 9 through April, offering 45-minute sessions on a Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday, or Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule. Prices are listed for Humboldt students (around 630–730 soles) and externals (around 670–780 soles). The coordinator is Karina Herz and inquiries can be sent to extracurriculares@humboldt.edu.pe.

Deutsche Schule Lima Alexander von Humboldt is a German international school in Peru with campuses in Miraflores and Surco and recreation center in Huampaní. It follows the German curriculum with bespoke program for ages 4 to 18 across Kindergarten, Grundschule, Mittelstufe, Oberstufe, and BerufsBildungsZentrum. German-language immersion runs from Kindergarten through upper secondary, with a native German educator and a bilingual partner in Kindergarten. In Grundschule most subjects are taught in German, with Castellano supported by a school-developed Castellano book; MDK combines music, German, and art within immersion. In Mittelstufe and Oberstufe, DaF and DaM pathways allow movement between language groups; from Grade 5, students develop presentation skills via the Doppel-Klick series. Upper secondary leads to the Deutsches Internationales Abitur (DIA) under the DIAP framework, with DSD I/II exams; Spanish remains core through Abitur, English and French are offered as additional languages. Extracurriculars include ADCA Música, German-Peruvian exchange, Die Pfadfinder.
