Monterrico Christian School has existed since 2001 to educate students for the glory of God and for excellence in every aspect of a holistic education. The school began under the sponsorship of the Asociación Iglesia Bautista Vida Nueva en Cristo de Monterrico, with the aim of forming biblically centered, integral lives. It was originally named Colegio Cristiano Vida Nueva and later renamed Monterrico Christian School to reflect its educational project, which introduced an Immersion English Program in the early years and primary grades and bilingual instruction in the secondary level. The mission is to glorify God through education, collaborating in the formation of integral lives for service to God and society. A team of capable, committed Christian professionals leads the school, with ongoing parental involvement deemed essential to the educational effort.
