The campus is the only school in Lima, Peru with LEED certification. It features bioclimatic architecture with significant energy savings and a bio-garden that supports sustainability education. Natural fertilizers are produced from our waste, and the learning about circular economy is integrated into student projects. The campus is protected by Securitas with 80 security cameras and a tsunami alert system monitored 24/7 from a control center. The spaces include Agriculture, Amphitheater, Library, Carpentry, Football field, Farm, and Nordic classrooms.
The campus includes a football field. Sports are integrated into the school program; regular practice fosters healthy habits and values such as teamwork, respect, and perseverance. We are part of ADECOPA, which aims to improve students' physical conditioning while supporting academic performance and emotional well-being. Participation in sports helps students face challenges, manage pressure, and develop resilience.
The campus includes a Library and Nordic classrooms. There is a Carpentry workshop. An Agriculture area and a Farm provide hands-on learning opportunities. These facilities support practical, project-based learning and interdisciplinary collaboration.
An Amphitheater hosts events and performances. An on-site bio-garden and a Farm support sustainability education and hands-on projects. These spaces enable student-driven extracurricular activities and community events.
Nordic International School is a Lima-based international day school for students aged 4 to 17 that delivers a Finnish-inspired education in a global context. The curriculum blends the Finnish model with Cambridge IGCSE examinations, and English language certifications such as PET and FCE/CAE, with 85% of classes taught in English.
