Clubs, activities, and opportunities to explore interests and passions

Academic and Intellectual

MindQuest Club develops strategic thinking, problem solving, teamwork, and social skills through board and card games for students of all ages. Sigma Squad deepens mathematical understanding and prepares participants for math competitions such as Math Kangaroo, ALFIK, and Memoriał Urszuli Marciniak. MathPOSSIBLE offers focused practice on numbers, fractions, decimals, geometry, and word problems through game-like sessions and teamwork. Chess Club builds logical thinking, concentration, creativity, and confidence through regular play and tournaments.

Arts and Creative

STEAM Club covers coding, programming, game and animation design, and creative digital art, fostering collaboration and problem‑solving. Music Club for older students deepens musical understanding, with focus on rhythm, melody, and harmony and opportunities for performance. Through the Lens Photo Club introduces photography basics, visual storytelling, and class exhibitions using mobile devices. Dance Mix combines multiple dance styles to develop rhythm, coordination, and creative movement.

Cultural and Language

Journey into Polish: First Steps is a supportive club for young learners starting Polish, building basic vocabulary, listening and speaking, and cultural awareness. Polish Plus expands vocabulary and grammar, supports longer conversations, and strengthens reading and writing while exploring Polish culture and traditions. ¡Vamos DELE! is a Spanish language and culture club offering exam-aligned practice across speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Cambridge English: First (FCE) prep provides exam-focused practice in Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, and Use of English.

Social and Hobbies

Clubs span sports, arts, sciences, languages, and technology, offering broad opportunities for social engagement and personal interests. MindQuest, Sigma Squad, Multisport, Karate, Chess, STEAM, and Dance Mix foster teamwork, creativity, and confidence through regular participation and competition. Students collaborate on projects, participate in events, and enjoy a supportive peer community.

Community and Service

Community service activities include the Christmas Charity Finale and Craft/Bake for Charity. Additional service-focused events include a Human Rights Writing Marathon and visits/workshops with local community partners. These experiences engage students in giving back and real-world social responsibility.

Leadership and Professional

STEAM Club includes Team Projects and Presentations to develop leadership and communication skills. The club structure provides opportunities for planning, collaboration, and presenting group ideas to peers.

International School of Gdansk (ISG) is part of the Gdańska Fundacja Oświatowa (GFO), which also oversees the International Preschool of Gdansk, the Elementary International School of Gdansk, and the High International School of Gdansk. ISG operates across three campuses—IPG, EISG, and HISG—in Gdańsk, Poland. It is an IB World School delivering the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) with English as the main language of instruction. IPG and EISG teach the PYP alongside the Polish core curriculum, while HISG provides high school education through home-based study with bilingual Polish/English instruction and two paths: BASIC PACKAGE and PREMIUM PACKAGE; extended subjects include English, chemistry, physics, biology and mathematics. The school emphasizes inquiry-based, holistic learning aligned with the IB learner profile. Facilities include a two-room library that supports PYP, swimming at Stogi Pool, and after-school clubs.
