The British School of Bucharest occupies a spacious campus in northern Bucharest with academic, sporting and artistic facilities. The campus was purpose-built to support ecological sustainability and environmental protection. It has three main buildings: the EYFS and Key Stage 1 centre at the rear, with Primary School and Secondary School buildings in front, designed to provide a variety of learning settings. The campus includes an indoor multi-purpose sports dome, four indoor sports areas and many outdoor play areas, plus Ringwood Kingdom for EYFS-Year 2 and a Science Garden. There are music rooms, fully equipped laboratories, two large libraries, a drama studio, and a Food Technology Studio with a dining area and six kitchens. The BSB Innovation Hub supports STEAM learning, and outdoor features include a Re-Wilding Zone, a vegetable garden and a pond. The campus security is robust, ensuring a safe and peaceful space for our students.
The campus includes an indoor multi-purpose sports dome and four indoor sports areas. There is an Indoor Multipurpose Sports Hall. Outdoor facilities include outdoor play areas, a climbing wall and an outdoor swimming pool. Ringwood Kingdom provides space for EYFS to Year 2. The sports spaces support PE and a range of extra-curricular activities on campus and off-site.
Fully equipped laboratories support science and technology education. Design & Technology Laboratories and a Food Technology Studio with a dining area and six kitchens support hands-on projects. Two large libraries and a drama studio provide spaces for study, research and performance. The BSB Innovation Hub combines design, technology, math and physics for practical, hands-on learning. Media Suite and Information & Communication facilities support digital learning and information literacy.
Music rooms and soundproof practice spaces support music and performing arts activities, along with a drama studio and performance spaces. The Innovation Hub supports STEAM projects and practical activities across design, technology and science. Art Studios and ICT facilities support creative and digital arts. The Food Technology Studio has a dining area and six kitchens for cooking activities, and Takanaka Bistro & Food Trucks provide on-campus dining experiences. Outdoor features such as the Re-Wilding Zone, a vegetable garden and a pond support ecology and outdoor learning.
