History

Founded in 1993 as a homeschool co-op, Bucharest Christian Academy is an accredited international school. It is the only fully American international school in Bucharest that follows a holistic education approach—caring for a child's intellectual, physical, emotional, and spiritual growth—while teaching from a Christian worldview. The school serves PreK4 through 12th grade and is located in the heart of Sector 3, Bucharest, growing into a multicultural community.

Community

BCA serves PreK4 through 12th grade and welcomes students from around the world with diverse backgrounds. The school provides a Christ-centered education with daily class devotions, weekly chapel services, Bible reading, and interaction within a loving community of believers. A school-wide Culture Fest is held in September each year. Elementary Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled in October, reflecting active involvement of families in the life of the school.
