EFI Bucarest is a French international school within the Odyssey Education group, located on Casa Scarlat Kretzulescu in central Bucharest. It offers a trilingual French–English–Romanian learning environment and follows the French national curriculum as approved by the French Ministry of Education. The school serves prekindergarten through primary levels, with a junior high opening in September 2024 and a high school planned for September 2028 to enable the French baccalaureate (international option) and related language certifications. French is the language of instruction, with English (~4.5 hours per week plus co-teaching) and Romanian (2 hours per week); about 20% of lessons are taught in English. Facilities include a 2,200 m² campus with a multi-sports hall, two large playgrounds, a media library, and a canteen. The Passerelle and Portal programmes support non‑French-speaking students, while extracurriculars span arts, theatre, robotics, chess and sport within the Odyssey network. The school emphasizes intercultural exchange and international-mindedness.
