Liceul Teoretic Școala Mea opened its doors in 1999 with the belief that every child is unique and that success looks different for each student. From the outset, the school aimed to create a place where children discover their individuality, learn to express it through a balanced personality, and develop as confident, well-rounded individuals in culturally diverse environments. Timeline: 1999 MEA Kindergarten; 2003 Primary School; 2007 Gymnasium; 2013 High School with a Real profile in Natural Sciences; 2018 Cambridge International School; 2019 Real profile with intensive English. In 2024 a Humanistic profile in Social Sciences with intensive English and LTSM International was added, and in March 2025 LTSM International was accredited as a British School Overseas (BSO).
The LTSM community is engaged through school projects and events organized by the PTA and other initiatives. The PTA is an organization of teachers and volunteer parents who participate actively in events and activities. PTA projects include Back to School Picnic; Christmas Fair; Talent Show; Drama Week; Creative workshops; Parties; Fairs; and Trips.
PTA is an LTSM organization comprising teachers and volunteer parents who actively participate in events and activities. PTA targets include enabling parental participation in LTSM activities, improving communication between parents and with the school, building community through fundraising and charity events, giving parents autonomy in organizing events, and developing programs for social education, healthy lifestyle and effective learning. Liceul Teoretic Scoala Mea is a day school in Romania with formal links to the United Kingdom via Cambridge International and accreditation as a British School Overseas (BSO). It delivers a mixed National and Cambridge curriculum for ages 3 to 18, covering Cambridge Primary, IGCSE, AS and A Levels, plus the IB Diploma Programme. The National track leads to the National Bacalaureat Diploma and IELTS, with Cambridge IGCSE certificates earned by year 10. The school is authorized to run CAIE exams on site and will offer new high school programs in Acting and Singing (Pop and Jazz) from September 2026. The campus includes 37 classrooms, multiple science laboratories, art and 3D printing spaces, a library system, two gyms, two sports halls, a 300-seat hall, and counseling and medical offices. It emphasizes multilingual learning and hybrid delivery, and offers broad extracurriculars, including theatre, School Band, STEM activities, and language-based clubs worldwide.
