Academic and Intellectual

MISB is a British international school in the heart of downtown Bucharest. Robotics and Chess are among the after-school clubs that foster science and critical thinking. Other clubs include Arts & Crafts, Painting, Piano, Ballet, Singing and Spanish. A Science Fair is hosted to promote inquiry-based learning.

Arts and Creative

MISB offers after-school clubs in Piano, Ballet, Singing, Arts & Crafts and Painting. These clubs provide outlets for music, dance and visual arts beyond the classroom. Participation is common, with many students attending more than one club.

Cultural and Language

Spanish is offered as an after-school club. Romanian language classes are available at all levels and German for KS2. English is the primary language used for teaching at MISB.

Social and Hobbies

After School Clubs are available to all students for an additional fee. Clubs include Aikido, Piano, Chess, Ballet, Singing, Robotics, Arts & Crafts, Painting and Spanish. Clubs are an important part of academic and social life, helping students grow their organizational and discipline skills.

MISB is a British international school located in downtown Bucharest, serving students aged 2 to 11 across Early Years and Primary (Key Stages 1 and 2). The curriculum follows the British National Curriculum, with Early Years organized around seven areas of learning and Primary including English, maths, and Romanian; phonics, reading, and writing are taught, and KS2 offers German.
