History

MISB is a British international school located in the heart of downtown Bucharest. The preschool and primary levels are authorized by the Ministry of National Education on the basis of Order no. 4474 / 09.08.2013. In 2022, a visit by the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) led to MISB being recognised as a COBIS Patron's Accredited Member School. MISB is a diverse, multicultural community that values respect for different cultures and perspectives. The curriculum is rich and child-centered, designed to inspire curiosity and to support students' social, emotional, and cultural development from Early Years through Key Stages 1 and 2.

School life features events such as a Science Fair and World Book Day, and Year 3 visits to the Public Library illustrate active learning. MISB is located in downtown Bucharest at Amzei Square.
