Introduction

Brookes Moscow is an international day and boarding school offering the full International Baccalaureate with the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, and Diploma Programme, all taught in English. Opened in September 2018, the school serves students from ages 2 to 18 and is part of the Brookes Education Group, a family of IB World Schools. It operates from a purpose-built campus in Moscow's Botanical Gardens district, near parkland and the Yauza River, with capacity for about 700 students. Brookes Moscow opened in September 2018 to provide education for ages 2–18. Admissions

Admissions
1. Filing the application and registration. The application for admission is submitted by parents (legal representatives) and/or other persons. The registration fee for the submission of applications by the applicant in respect of several intending students is paid once (per family). Admission to the School is made all year round if there are free places and the training fees are paid by individuals or by legal entities for additional general education programs. 2. Academic acquaintance, entrance test, and interview. After the application is filed, applicants undergo Academic acquaintance and entrance tests; testing may be processed remotely and anonymously by an external organization with which the School has an agreement on evaluating entrance tests. The School invites the parents (legal representatives) and the intending student to a personal interview with the Director and/or members of the Admissions Commission; the interview is conducted mainly in English. The results of Academic acquaintance and entrance tests are not published on the School's online materials and are communicated to applicants before testing begins; these results may be submitted to the Scholarship Commission for consideration of fee reductions. 3. Enrollment decision. The basis for enrollment is the conclusion of the Admissions Commission, taking into account the opinion of the School Director, as recorded in the Commission's minutes. The decision on admission is made by the Admissions Commission of the School. 4. Documentation and final steps. At admission, applicants must present birth certificates or equivalent documents, the minor's passport, and the parent/guardian's identity documents (or other documents as required). Original documents are returned to parents; copies are stored by the School. If a full document package is not provided, admission may be refused. If there are no free places, applicants who have passed tests and whose entrance fee has been paid are placed on the Waiting List, in the order established by regulation. The entrance fee amount and the procedure for payment and refunds are defined by local regulations and a written agreement between the applicant and the School governs those terms. If a place becomes available, applicants are informed; if more than six months have elapsed since testing, tests may be repeated at no additional cost to determine the applicant's level of preparation. In addition, priority for admission is given to returning students, siblings of current students, children whose parents are employed by the School, and winners or prize recipients. The education contract must be concluded within three months of consent to enrollment; if the contract is not concluded, the paid entrance fee is not refunded and the applicant is re-entered on the Waiting List in the prescribed order.

Scholarships
The School has a Scholarship Commission. Legal representatives of gifted, highly motivated, or exceptionally performing Applicants may apply to the Scholarship Commission for a reduction in the cost of training for selected educational programs, in the manner and on the terms established by local regulations. The results of Academic acquaintance and entrance tests may be submitted to the Scholarship Commission for consideration of fee reductions. The Commission operates within the rules and procedures defined by the School's local regulations.

Waitlist
When no places are available, those who have passed the entrance tests and paid the entrance fee are entered into the Waiting List. The Waiting List includes candidates in the order of receipt of applications by registration. Enrolment in the Waiting List is subject to payment of the entrance fee, the amount of which is defined by the local regulations of the Organization; the terms of payment and refunds are set out in a written agreement between the Applicant and the School.
