1. Grade level is determined by age as of July 1 of the school year. A student must have reached the required age on or before July 1 to be eligible for the corresponding grade. For Kindergarten in the 2026-2027 school year, a child must have turned 5 on or before July 1, 2026. Age by July 1 determines grade level: 5 -> Kindergarten; 6 -> 1st; 7 -> 2nd; 8 -> 3rd; 9 -> 4th; 10 -> 5th; 11 -> 6th; 12 -> 7th; 13 -> 8th; 14 -> 9th; 15 -> 10th; 16 -> 11th; 17 -> 12th. 2.
