Acorns International School Kigali is a day school in Rwanda serving learners from 0 to 18. The school follows a Cambridge continuum, offering Early Years from 18 months, Cambridge Primary, Lower Secondary, IGCSE, Cambridge International AS Levels, and Cambridge A Levels. The curriculum is complemented by weekly co-curricular sessions in Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Practical Life, Physical Education (including swimming), Information and Communications Technology, and Languages (French and Kinyarwanda as mother tongue). French is taught with opportunities to pass the DELF exams. Lunch is provided at school and snacks are brought from home; class sizes are kept small to support individual attention. Assessments include continuous assessments, projects, oral presentations, written reports, Cambridge progression tests, and end-of-term exams.
