Academic and Intellectual

The school emphasizes problem solving, thinking skills, inquiry and research. Singapore Math is used from Nursery to Grade 8, and remedial assistance is available when necessary. There are science laboratories and a well-stocked library, and specialist classrooms for computer, art, and physical education. The school prepares students for Cambridge IGCSE, IB Diploma and national programs, and is Cambridge International Centre since 2002 and IB World School since 2005.

Arts and Creative

Co-curricular activities include choir, Rwandan traditional dance and drumming, karate, debate, drama, art, computers and multimedia. From G5 to G8, students can choose options to develop their talents. These activities take place as part of the school program and after-school hours.

Cultural and Language

English and French are taught in the early years and English is the language of instruction from Tiny Tots through Grade 12. Kinyarwanda and German are taught as subjects. From Grade 9 all students are taught in English to support Cambridge IGCSE, IB Diploma and national programs. Rwandan traditional dance and drumming are also offered as cultural activities.
