The school operates seven buildings, including Nursery-Foundation, Lower Primary, Upper Primary, Lower Secondary and Upper Secondary, located in a quiet Belgrade residential area. The classrooms are spacious and bright, with park-like gardens surrounding the premises. The grounds include quiet shady areas for study and relaxation as well as spaces for outdoor activities. On site are sport fields for football, basketball, volleyball and tennis.
Chartwell Secondary School Campus has covered sports fields for volleyball, basketball, football and badminton. The gym is equipped for gymnastics with a balance beam, climbing rope, ladder, vault and mats. There are changing rooms in the gym, along with lighting and heating for use in all weather. An outdoor sports field is also available.
Upper Secondary Premises include 21 classrooms, IT and Science labs, an Art classroom, a library, a study hall and a dining area, with sports fields nearby. Lower Secondary features a science lab, a music room, an art room, ICT, a media room, language and mathematics classrooms. The library provides a wide range of resources to support independent research, and pupils can borrow material as well as access a school-supported online reading platform. The school maintains a network of computers that provides coordinated and protected internet access, and students are encouraged to use computers across the curriculum with cyber safety guidance. Cambridge ICT Starters introduces young learners to essential ICT applications.
The Performing Arts programme includes music, dance, drama and debate at all levels. Residential trips, school trips and a variety of excursions are a regular part of Chartwell life, alongside charity events, theatre visits and exhibitions. Students participate in cultural activities such as museum visits, book fairs, theatre and art events, and other community-facing activities. Green School by Chartwell offers nature‑based learning on Ada Ciganlija, Belgrade, on a 20,000 m² green campus dedicated to immersive, eco-friendly learning.
Chartwell International School operates across several Belgrade campuses, delivering education for ages 2 to 18. It provides the British National Curriculum, including Cambridge Primary, Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge International AS Levels and Cambridge A Levels, and teaches six languages. The school has operated for 25 years and was the first in Belgrade to offer the British National Curriculum.
