ESL support is designed to meet the needs of students whose level of English language knowledge is a hindrance in attaining their full academic potential. The ESL program is offered in small classroom groups and follows the Cambridge Primary English as a Second Language curriculum. Lower Secondary offers French in the curriculum through a peer-led learning approach. Serbian language classes are part of the curriculum.
Chartwell International School operates across several Belgrade campuses, delivering education for ages 2 to 18. It provides the British National Curriculum, including Cambridge Primary, Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge International AS Levels and Cambridge A Levels, and teaches six languages. The school has operated for 25 years and was the first in Belgrade to offer the British National Curriculum. It is accredited by Cambridge as an international school and examination center and is recognised by the Serbian Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development. The campus network comprises seven buildings in a quiet residential area, with park-like gardens, spaces for study and activities, and on-site sport fields. Upper Secondary premises include 21 classrooms, IT and science labs, an art classroom, a library, a study hall and a dining area. The Performing Arts programme, residential and school trips, charity events and a Green School nature-based campus on Ada Ciganlija shape Chartwell's extracurricular offering.
