5 Steps Academy is a Cambridge International School with EduTrust accreditation and a US College Board-approved SAT Center. The campus includes on-site programs such as the 5 Steps Care Program and After-School Care. English is the primary language of instruction, with Mandarin and several other languages available through tailored programs. The school provides a range of co-curricular activities integrated with its academic program.
The school has its own gym where Kyokushin Karate is taught by the head of the school. Athletics includes two sports CCAs: Kyokushin Karate and Gymnastics.
The school offers Cambridge IGCSE and A-level curricula and operates as a Cambridge International School. It is EduTrust-accredited and a US College Board-approved SAT Center and AP testing site. The school is an official test centre for SAT, AP, IGCSE, and A Levels.
Co-Curricular Activities include CCAs and Foreign Languages (English is the primary language; Mandarin, Spanish, French, Russian, Japanese, Hindi listed as Hindy, and Tamil). Other CCAs cover Creative Arts & Ceramics, Performing Arts, Coding & Robotics, Chess, Music, Athletics, Social Program, and Enrichment.
5 Steps Academy caters for students aged 5 to 18, offering the International Primary Curriculum for younger years, and the IGCSEs and A-levels for older students. The school's facilities include spacious classrooms, a well-equipped science lab, and an art studio. One of the standout features is the school’s social program which aims to instil civic responsibility by encouraging students to complete community service projects every year. The school also promotes its extracurricular activities, particularly in performing arts and STEM activities.
