The school teaches Singapore Maths, British English, and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) for students aged 5–12. IPC units are arranged in Mileposts MP1 (ages 5–7), MP2 (ages 7–9), and MP3 (ages 11) and cover subjects such as science, history, geography, music, drama, and physical education. The teaching emphasises enquiry-based, hands-on learning with guided inquiry and collaborative projects that build problem-solving, communication and resilience. IPC Learning Goals define knowledge, skills, and understanding, and the school is licensed by Fieldwork Education to teach IPC, with the license valid until 31 March 2027.
The enrichment program extends the core day with classes in languages, art, music, dance, drama, and sports. Enrichment runs from 1:30pm to 3:00pm and offers activities such as Dance, Drama, Drawing and Painting, Pottery, Forest School, Culture and Discovery Club, Games and Chess, Creative Writing, Maker Space and Kids Kitchen, plus STEM options. The program is refreshed each term and is also available to the public on request.
Astor offers foreign language classes by choice, with a minimum class size of four students, and classes meet twice weekly. As of August 2025 Mandarin, French, Spanish and Russian are offered. If a language is not currently offered but there is sufficient demand, the school will consider introducing it. IPC Learning Goals and multilingual emphasis support international mindedness.

The enrichment program emphasizes physical, emotional and psychological well-being, with exercise, vigorous outdoor play and regular interaction with nature built into the day.
