The school has a capacity of 130 students and maintains small classes with a maximum of 20 students. The campus features bright, functional classrooms and outdoor spaces, including two playgrounds and an outdoor jungle environment for daily outdoor activity. The school emphasises a small, community-based setting with an enquiry-based, experiential approach to learning.

Astor teaches Singapore Maths, British English, and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) for learners aged 5–12. IPC units are thematic and structured to promote international-mindedness and personal growth. The teaching approach is enquiry-based, with hands-on activities and manipulatives such as counters, beads, cards and visuals to support learning.
Enrichment classes run after the main academic day, with the core day finishing at 1:00 PM and enrichment available until 3:00 PM. Enrichment options include art, music, dance, drama, sports, languages and other activities, expanding learning beyond core subjects. The school offers 4+ foreign languages, including mother tongues, to broaden linguistic and cultural exposure. Enrichment programs are designed to be flexible, with various scheduling and participation options.
