Curriculum

Blue House International – East Coast follows a Reggio Emilia-inspired emergent curriculum designed for children aged 18 months to 6 years. Learning is project-based, with children’s interests guiding inquiry and exploration, and the environment is treated as a “third teacher.” The programme is bilingual, with English and Mandarin educators working together on shared lines of inquiry throughout the day. Classes are structured into Playgroup, Nursery 1, Nursery 2, Kindergarten 1, and Kindergarten 2, each with age-appropriate educator-to-child ratios. Beyond the core classroom programme, children may also join Discover classes in Art, Music, and Mandarin, which extend the Reggio-inspired approach into specialist areas. As an early years school, Blue House does not offer formal qualifications or external examinations.
