Blue House International follows a Reggio Emilia–inspired approach, which emphasises inquiry-based and child-led learning. The curriculum is described as emergent, meaning projects and investigations are developed from children’s interests and experiences. Learning takes place in carefully designed spaces such as Ateliers and Piazzas, which support collaboration, creativity, and expression. The school also integrates a bilingual Mandarin–English programme, with both educators working concurrently along shared lines of inquiry. Programmes are available from Playgroup through Kindergarten 2 (18 months–6 years), with options for half-day and full-day enrolment. The curriculum is designed to connect children’s daily experiences with broader explorations of the community and natural environment.
Blue House International’s River Valley (Jalan Mutiara) campus serves children 18 months–6 years in a homelike, two-storey setting near Great World City and Fort Canning Hill. The school is Reggio Emilia–inspired, with an emergent, bilingual Mandarin–English curriculum delivered by Mandarin and English educators working together. Children learn in curated indoor and outdoor Ateliers and Piazzas, with published educator-to-child ratios from 1:6 (Playgroup) to 1:10 (Kindergarten). Programmes run half-day or full-day, and 2025 fees are S$1,915–S$2,308 per month before GST. The campus connects with the wider Blue House community’s specialist offerings such as Discover Music and resident artist collaborations. Daily routines, naps, and meals are flexibly arranged in consultation with families. The academic calendar highlights closure days, celebration days, and parent events specific to Jalan Mutiara.
