Blue House International – Tanglin follows a Reggio Emilia–inspired, bilingual emergent curriculum designed for children aged 18 months to 6 years. Learning is inquiry-based, with English- and Mandarin-speaking educators co-teaching so children experience both languages daily. Programmes are structured into Playgroup, Nursery 1, Nursery 2, Kindergarten 1, and Kindergarten 2, with published educator-to-child ratios ranging from 1:6 in Playgroup to 1:10 in Kindergarten. Learning spaces include indoor ateliers, a library, mud kitchen, and piazza, complemented by the Atelier Under the Sky, an outdoor classroom in the neighbouring park that incorporates forest-school elements. In addition, the campus offers optional Discover Classes led by specialist educators in Art, Music, and Mandarin, extending children’s interests beyond the core programme.
