Brighton Montessori follows a Montessori curriculum that develops core skills through hands-on activities across five subject areas. Children explore science, history, botany, and general knowledge through concrete experiences and age-appropriate discussions to build curiosity and understanding of the world. Phonics and early grammar are introduced via Montessori tools to support early literacy, while mathematical concepts are built with tangible materials like Number Rods and Golden Beads. Enrichment Programmes extend learning beyond the core curriculum and are offered Monday to Friday in the afternoons, including Intensive Chinese Immersion Programme (ICIP) and Kidz Fun Discovery Programme (KFDP).
KFDP provides opportunities for Art & Craft, Cookery, Multimedia Skills, Music & Movement, and Speech & Drama, fostering creativity and expressive abilities. These activities are designed to support literacy, social and emotional development, and problem-solving within an engaging, hands-on format. The enrichment offerings are conducted in the afternoon sessions as part of the programme described for Brighton Montessori centres.
Intensive Chinese Immersion Programme (ICIP) immerses children in a Mandarin-speaking environment with a focus on developing oral and written Mandarin skills. ICIP is part of the enrichment offerings, which run Monday to Friday in the afternoon.
Kidz Fun Discovery Programme (KFDP) and its activities—Art & Craft, Cookery, Multimedia Skills, Music & Movement, and Speech & Drama—provide group-based experiences that support collaboration, social interaction and peer engagement. These enrichment activities occur in the afternoon sessions as part of Brighton Montessori's broader curriculum.
Brighton Montessori @ Ang Mo Kio caters to children aged 18 months to 6 years, offering programs from Pre-Nursery to Kindergarten 2. The school follows the Montessori curriculum, emphasizing hands-on learning and individualized teaching approaches in areas such as Phonics and Mathematics.
