ChildFirst is operated by Ednovation, a Singapore-based preschool education company established in 1991. The group has developed and managed multiple preschool brands in Singapore and overseas. ChildFirst was created as part of Ednovation’s efforts to integrate technology, trilingualism, and early years education. The Hillview campus, the newest in the group, officially opened in March 2024.
ChildFirst highlights a community approach through organised learning journeys and events. Examples include outings such as the visit by Hillview K1 and K2 children to the Sustainable Singapore Gallery, which connects classroom themes to real-world experiences. These activities reflect the school’s practice of linking its trilingual and STEM curriculum to wider community and cultural settings.

ChildFirst @ Hillview opened in March 2024 at 63 Hillview Ave, a short walk from Hillview MRT (Exit B). The school delivers a bespoke iUnique curriculum that blends Human Intelligence (HI), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Multiple Intelligences (MI) with a trilingual approach—English, Chinese and Coding—from the early years. Children encounter computational thinking, coding and robotics as part of daily learning, alongside language development supported by in-house AI tools such as AI Chinese and AI Maths. Facilities highlighted across the group include digital learning spaces and activity areas for sensory play. A distinctive feature is ChildFirst’s positioning as a trilingual preschool: “a first for any preschool in Singapore”, with equal emphasis on the three strands and nearby transport access for families. School operating hours run 7:00am–7:00pm for full-day care, with half-day options.
