DIMENSIONS was established in 1980. To meet the growing demand for quality education, it expanded to include a Primary School, a High School, a School of Higher Education, a School of Languages, and a School of Hospitality. These programs are housed across five campuses: Main Campus, Bukit Timah Campus, City Campus, Orchard Campus, and Holland Village Campus. The Orchard Campus was unveiled on 1 January 2022; it spans 32,000 square feet and is located near Somerset MRT Station. The Orchard Campus became operational in January 2023. DIMENSIONS hosts inter-campus events such as the Super League Futsal competition, held at the Orchard campus rooftop garden, with Holland and Kovan campuses participating; Orchard Team 2 finished second. The competition took place on 21 August 2024. The school also runs an annual Science Exhibition at the Orchard campus, where students create and present science booths to peers; this was reported for the Orchard campus in early January 2023. These events illustrate active campus community engagement across DIMENSIONS' campuses.
Committee structures include Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and a Canteen Committee, alongside CIP (Community Involvement Program) Teams. CIP Teams provide a platform for staff to participate in community programmes. There are end-term dialogue meetings with students to promote social interaction among students from different countries and to gather feedback. Dimensions International College - Orchard is a Primary school offering the both the Cambridge curriculum and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC).
