EtonHouse International School Sentosa is part of the EtonHouse International Education Group, which was founded in 1995 by Mrs. Ng Gim Choo after she was inspired by the British pre-school system during her time in London. The Sentosa campus opened in 2015, offering pre-school and primary education. Nestled amidst the natural beauty of Sentosa Island, this campus provides a unique learning environment that integrates the island's lush greenery and attractions into its educational programmes
EtonHouse Sentosa fosters a close-knit community where small class sizes enable teachers to form deep and lasting bonds with students. The school organizes various workshops throughout the year, covering topics from nutrition to interactive storytelling, to engage parents and enrich the community experience. Additionally, cultural events and celebrations are held to promote inclusivity and appreciation of diverse backgrounds, enhancing the sense of belonging among students and families.
The school emphasizes strong partnerships with parents, although it does not have a formal PTA. Educators actively involve parents through workshops and collaborative events, fostering a supportive community. Parents are encouraged to participate in school activities and contribute to the school's development, ensuring a holistic educational experience for their children.
EtonHouse International School Sentosa offers an inquiry-based curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, catering to children from 18 months to 10 years old. The campus is nestled amidst natural surroundings and thus a distinctive feature of the school is its emphasis on connecting children with nature, as shown by its 'Nature Education Programme' that integrates outdoor exploration into daily learning. The school also has a strong language programme, providing a bilingual learning environment in English and Mandarin.
