Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

Heritage Academy was founded in Singapore in 2005 and is owned and operated by Heritage Academy Pte. Ltd. It was initially registered under the name Heritage Educare Pte. Ltd. before adopting its current name. The school operates as a private company limited by shares and is registered with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA). Over the years, it has expanded to multiple campuses across Singapore to accommodate growing enrolment.

Community

Heritage Academy’s school community includes both local and international families, reflecting a diverse cultural background. The school organizes community events such as chapel sessions, character-building activities, and service projects. Cultural events like Chinese New Year, National Day, and Children’s Day are also celebrated across campuses. These activities encourage student participation and foster a sense of belonging.

Parent-Teacher Association

Heritage Academy does not have a formal Parent Teacher Association (PTA), but it actively promotes parent involvement through regular communication and organized events. Parents are invited to orientation sessions and workshops that provide insights into the school’s curriculum and learning approaches.

The school also offers volunteering opportunities for parents to support events such as cultural celebrations and community service projects. Parent-Teacher Conferences are held regularly to discuss student progress and strengthen collaboration between home and school.
