Social and emotional learning (SEL): The Josiah Way combines Montessori principles with group activities and the in-house Musical Arts Programme (MAP), which consists of five elements to inculcate self-management and social awareness.
Special Educational Needs (SEN): Josiah Care provides early intervention and bridging for children with learning or developmental disabilities within Josiah centres; Josiah Care indicates support for children with learning or developmental disabilities (LDD). Josiah is not described as a specialist SEN institution.
English as an Additional Language (EAL): The school emphasises bilingualism in English and Mandarin, supporting language development, but no separately detailed EAL programme beyond bilingual language development is described.
Mental wellbeing: MAP and The Josiah Way promote self-regulation, social awareness and holistic development, supported by Montessori-trained staff and ongoing parental engagement.
