La Petite Ecole Singapore was established in 2012 as a bilingual institution offering education in French and English. In 2013, it received accreditation from the French Ministry of Education and became a partner of the Agency for French Education Abroad, integrating it into a global network of French international schools.
La Petite Ecole fosters a vibrant community by integrating families into school life through regular events, open mornings, and parent workshops. The school utilizes the ClassDojo app, a secure platform where teachers share weekly updates and photos, allowing parents to stay connected with their child's experiences. Individual parent-teacher meetings are held twice a year, with additional appointments available upon request.
While La Petite Ecole Singapore does not have a formal PTA, it actively involves parents in the school community. Parents are encouraged to participate in various events and workshops, fostering a collaborative environment. The school organizes regular community events, open mornings, and parent workshops to ensure continuous and supplementary education for students. School Councils are held each term, where parent representatives gather suggestions and discuss class-related issues, promoting open communication between families and the school.
