Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

Little Paddington was founded in 2015 by Prerna Jhunjhunwala. Ownership is private, under her leadership. Over the years it has grown to a network of centres across Singapore, serving more than 2,000 children in its first ten years. The “Paddington Way” pedagogy, with its “Hearts, Hands, Minds” approach, was developed in-house.

Community

Little Paddington runs regular community-oriented events through its Newsroom and “Events / Workshops for Parents” pages. These include parent workshops such as “Understanding Brain Development in Children 0-6 years” and “From Yelling to Connecting,” which are clearly aimed at strengthening the parent-school relationship. In addition, the centres organise open houses and forums for families to engage with teachers and curriculum updates.

Parent-Teacher Association

The school does not publicly disclose a formal Parent Teacher Association (PTA) structure in its website content that I found. There is no specific page or section labelled “PTA” describing regular parent-led committees or ongoing PTA events at Little Paddington. If there are parent working groups or support groups, these are not detailed in the accessible materials.
