Little Paddington was founded in 2015 by Prerna Jhunjhunwala. Ownership is private, under her leadership. Over the years it has grown to a network of centres across Singapore, serving more than 2,000 children in its first ten years. The “Paddington Way” pedagogy, with its “Hearts, Hands, Minds” approach, was developed in-house.
Little Paddington runs regular community-oriented events through its Newsroom and “Events / Workshops for Parents” pages. These include parent workshops such as “Understanding Brain Development in Children 0-6 years” and “From Yelling to Connecting,” which are clearly aimed at strengthening the parent-school relationship. In addition, the centres organise open houses and forums for families to engage with teachers and curriculum updates.
The school does not publicly disclose a formal Parent Teacher Association (PTA) structure in its website content that I found. There is no specific page or section labelled “PTA” describing regular parent-led committees or ongoing PTA events at Little Paddington. If there are parent working groups or support groups, these are not detailed in the accessible materials.
Little Paddington - Thomson Walk offers programs for children aged 18 months to 6 years. The school follows a Reggio-Emilia-inspired approach and provides a serene environment for exploration. Facilities at the centre include spacious classrooms, outdoor play areas, and sensory-focused spaces for holistic development. A notable feature is the institution’s enrichment activities, such as science workshops and field trips, which enhance critical thinking and creativity, preparing children for future academic success.
NEST, Dover Court International School’s Early Childhood Learning programme, gives young learners (aged 3 to 7) the best possible start. In a calm and nurturing environment, children learn through play, discovery and exploration – guided by expert teachers who spark curiosity and build confidence every step of the way.
From social–emotional wellbeing to early literacy and numeracy, our personalised approach ensures every child feels known, supported and inspired to thrive.
