Little Seeds Preschool began in 2019 when faith-based preschools joined Anglican Preschool Services to form a single network. Early members included Ascension Kindergarten and St. James' Church Kindergarten, and the group adopted the Little Seeds Preschool name to reflect a unified identity. The network emphasizes shared resources, mutual support, and collaboration to raise the quality of Christian-values-based early childhood education. Anglican Preschool Services operates under the Anglican Diocese of Singapore and oversees the Little Seeds network. By 2026 the network had grown to 17 faith-based preschools island-wide, with 12 Partner Operator (POP) centres and 5 Non-POP centres.
Little Seeds (TSA – Tampines) is a faith-based, bilingual preschool in Singapore and is part of the 17-centre Little Seeds network. The school is supported by a Centre Chaplain, Captains Raymond and Cathy Aloba, who serve as Salvation Army officers in the Changi Corps. A Centre Pastoral Care Team coordinates community care and works with families, including weekly chapel assemblies for children, staff prayers, and church outreach events. The learning environment includes outdoor spaces and community amenities nearby, such as an outdoor playground and a nearby park, reflecting learning beyond the classroom.
There is no formal PTA described for Little Seeds Tampines or on the network's public pages. Parental involvement is organized through the Pastoral Care Team and centre communications rather than a standalone PTA. Centre Chaplains provide spiritual care and coordinate family-focused activities in partnership with staff, while the Anglican Preschool Services umbrella supports family engagement through church-based programs and community outreach. A Seeds of Hope fund, established in 2015, provides financial assistance to families to access preschool education. Open houses and other family events are conducted at various Little Seeds centres to welcome new families and involve parents in learning.
The preschool offers a values-based curriculum grounded in Christian principles, emphasizing moral and character education alongside academic learning. Programs cater to children aged 18 months to 6 years.
