Admissions

Admissions

1) Fill up the book-a-school-visit form. The school will arrange a Zoom meet with both parents. After the Zoom meet, if the parents' and school's expectations are aligned, a school visit will be scheduled. This initial interaction helps families understand Lodestar Montessori's preschool approach. 2) After the school visit, an Entry Assessment is conducted by the respective team of guides. If the assessment is successful, the family proceeds to submit the necessary documents and pay the Enrolment Deposit, Application, Term and Bus (if applicable) fees. These actions move the family into the formal enrollment process. 3) Submit scanned copies of the following for submission: Parents' NRIC/DP/PR/EP and passports for non-NRIC holders. Child's SG Birth Certificate/DP and passport for non-SG BC holders. Child's Health Records (if any) and Educational Reports (if any). Documents must be translated if they are not in English. 4) Eligibility: Children between and including ages 3-5 are accepted at Nursery 1, Nursery 2 or Kindergarten 1. If entry occurs at Kindergarten 2, the child must register for Montessori Elementary after completing the Montessori Primary and Enrichment Programs, with the Enrolment Deposit forfeited if the Elementary program is not pursued. Admission is based on availability and with consideration to age and gender ratios. Preference is given to families intending to remain for the full 3-year Montessori cycle. 5) Fees and deposits: The Application Fee is $500 (non-refundable) and the Enrolment Deposit is $500 (refundable upon graduation or with 1 month's written notice during term time).
