Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

Lotus Bridge International School (LBIS) was officially launched on 1 August 2019. The institution was founded by Mr. Bhajan Singh and Dr. Harjinder Kaur, both seasoned educators with extensive experience in educational leadership and consultancy. Mr. Singh, in particular, has been instrumental in developing a student needs-based model of education that emphasizes creativity, universal values, and leadership.

The school integrates innovative programmes such as the Student Activity-Based Teaching and Learning (SABTAL) environment, the Value Inculcation Programme (VIP), and various leadership and creativity initiatives. These programmes are designed to foster academic excellence, emotional resilience, and global citizenship among students. Over the years, LBIS has celebrated milestones like its 5th anniversary in July 2024, reflecting on its journey and growth within the educational landscape of Singapore.

Community

The school fosters a vibrant community through initiatives like the Enrichment and Discovery on Wheels (ENDOW) program, which encourages students to explore and engage with their surroundings. Students have participated in activities such as exploring the Jalan Besar neighborhood to learn about its history and environment. The school also organizes trips to locations like Singapore's Southern Islands, providing experiential learning opportunities that enrich the educational experience.

Parent-Teacher Association

The school does not have publicly available information on parent teacher association.
