Middleton International School began with its first campus at 215 Upper Bukit Timah in January 2017 to offer an affordable international school programme for G1–5. A second campus opened in Tampines in May 2018, with a capacity of about 1,200 students and a through-train pathway to Cambridge IGCSE and A-Levels. Middleton West Coast is the newest campus in Singapore, located at 20 Harbour Drive, with capacity for more than 500 students from Nursery 2 to Grade 5. The West Coast campus opened in February 2022 (subject to regulatory approvals). Middleton is part of the EtonHouse International Education Group.
Well-being is at the centre of Middleton's practices, with The Contentment Foundation serving as its mothership school in South East Asia. The school provides Community Involvement Programmes, pastoral counselling, and a Student Council, with close collaboration between parents and guardians. Special assemblies are held throughout the year to coincide with festivals such as Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Deepavali, Easter and United Nations Day. Photographs and videos of learners may be published on the school website or Bloomz and in publications such as the Yearbook.
Middleton International School – West Coast Campus is part of the EtonHouse International Education Group and sits at 20 Harbour Drive, Singapore 117612. The campus, Middleton's newest site opened in February 2022 (subject to regulatory approvals), has capacity for 500 students and offers classes from Nursery 2 to Grade 5. It follows a Cambridge-based pathway and the International Primary Curriculum in the primary years. Early years use a Reggio-inspired Inquiry.Think.Learn approach for Nursery 2 to Kindergarten 2. Middleton launched the Intensive English Programme (MIEP) at the West Coast campus to support non-native English learners in Grades 4 to 7 before joining the mainstream curriculum. Across Middleton schools, Cambridge guides secondary and high school study, with Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge A-Levels available. The campus emphasizes wellbeing through a structured mindfulness programme, an English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme, Additional Languages, and student leadership via a Student Council for students today.
