Rain Trees International Kindergarten is located at 255 Holland Road, in a residential area near Holland Village. The school is a 5-minute drive from Holland Village MRT (Circle Line) and close to key expat areas like Bukit Timah and Tanglin. It's easily accessed by car and several bus routes run along Holland Road.
Rain Trees groups children from 18 months to 6 years into six types of classes based on age and developmental stage: Butterflies ,Sunbirds, Fireflies, Dragonflies, Ladybirds, and Busy Bees. Each level supports age-appropriate learning and routines.
The school also offers a separate toddler group for children aged 8 months to 2 years, designed to help them build social skills and adjust to the preschool setting.
Rain Trees International Kindergarten is a co-educational day school for both local and international students aged 8 months to 6 years.
Rain Trees offers support for children with mild additional learning needs on a case-by-case basis. The school works closely with parents and external specialists to ensure appropriate strategies are in place within the classroom setting.
There is no dedicated learning support department on site.
Rain Trees International Kindergarten has no formal affiliation to any particular country.
Rain Trees International Kindergarten has no religious affiliation. Children from all backgrounds are welcome.
The school day at Rain Trees varies by age group.
- For Butterflies and Sunbirds, classes start from 8:45 am to 11:45 am with a choice of 2, 3, or 5 days.
- Fireflies attend from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm; 3 or 5 days are allowed until age 3, after which 5 days are required.
- Dragonflies and Ladybirds attend 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, 5 days a week.
- Busy Bees attend 9:00am to 2:30pm, 5 days a week.
- Parent and Toddler Group runs on Fridays from 10:00am to 11:45am. Helper and Toddler Group sessions are held on Mondays and Wednesdays, also from 10:00am to 11:45am.
Optional afternoon sessions run until 2:30pm, with after-school CCAs from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.
Rain Trees offers a school bus service through an external provider.

Registration Fee: SGD 750 (non-refundable)
Acceptance Deposit: SGD 1,000 (refundable with three months’ written notice by specific deadlines)

(Fees vary depending on attendance for 2, 3, or 5 mornings per week; fees are pro-rated accordingly. Additionally, Children on half days may extend to full days at a rate of SGD 40 per day extended.)
Busy Bees (Full-Day Programme, 5 full days)

Term 2: SGD 9,150
Term 3: SGD 8,470
Fees are invoiced termly and pro-rated for mid-term enrolments. GST of 9% applies from 1 January 2024.
Billing Schedule and Payment Terms
-Invoices are issued 6 weeks before term ends; payment is due within 30 days.
-Payments must be made before a child can start or continue classes.
-Payment is by bank transfer only.
Refunds
Term fees are non-refundable under any circumstance.
Acceptance deposits are refunded if proper written notice is provided by the specified deadlines; otherwise, the deposit is forfeited. Refunds are processed within 7 days of the child’s last day.
Rain Trees International Kindergarten caters for children aged 18 months to 6 years, following the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. The school emphasizes learning through play, hands-on activities, and discovery. A standout feature is the expansive 35,000 square feet garden, equipped with climbing frames, sandpits, ride-on toys, and a vegetable patch where children cultivate their own produce. For younger children, a Parent and Toddler Group is available, facilitating a gentle introduction to the school environment.
