Admissions

Admissions

Step 1: Pre-Application Counselling. All prospective students and their parents or guardians are required to attend a pre-application counselling session offered by SISH or SISH representatives in your country. The session provides detailed information on course options, admission criteria, and available study pathways to help you make a well-informed decision. International students under 18 who study in Singapore and are not residing with a parent must have a guardian for the duration of their enrolment in an international school. Step 2: Complete Your Application Form. Fill out the SIHS Course Application Form and submit it with all required documents to initiate the process. A one-time non-refundable and non-transferable Application Fee of $545 must be paid, which covers the placement test all applicants must take. Submit supporting documents including the child's recent passport-sized photo, birth certificate, child's passport, copies of both parents' passports, front and back copies of the child's DP/PR/Student Pass (if applicable), front and back copies of both parents' DP/EP/LTVP/PR/Student Pass (if applicable), transcripts, proof of English proficiency (if applicable), immunization status, and any learning needs evaluations. Step 3: Application Review & Offer. After review and acceptance, SIHS issues a Letter of Offer with intake details and fees, along with Course Information and a Student Pass Application Checklist for international students. To secure the place, return the signed Letter of Offer by the stated deadline; failure to do so will lapse the offer and require a new application. SIHS will initiate the Student Pass application with the ICA after receiving the signed Letter of Offer and the Application Fee, and the ICA issues an IPA. The total processing time for the Student Pass is typically 2 to 4 weeks. Step 4: Finalise Your Enrolment. After approval, confirm your place at SIHS. The student and a parent or guardian (if under 18) must sign the SIHS Student Contract and settle the school fees and any applicable miscellaneous charges. Ensure all required documents are in order and that visa or pass requirements are completed as part of enrolment. Step 5: Get Ready for First Day of School. Enrolment is complete and onboarding procedures begin. Parents and students should report to the school to complete onboarding, purchase uniforms, and obtain required textbooks. An orientation session is held to help new students settle in, meet teachers and staff, and connect with peers.
