The Swiss School in Singapore is located in Bukit Timah, in a green, quiet area adjacent to the Swiss Club. The modern buildings surround an inner courtyard and the classrooms are air-conditioned. The facilities include playgrounds, a sandpit, a multi-purpose hall, a sports court, a science lab, a library in German and English, a kitchen, a garden, and a well-equipped art room with a painting studio, a psycho-motor room and a speech therapy room. Because the school sits on Swiss Club land, instruction can use Swiss Club facilities such as the swimming pool, a soccer field, a gym and the arts and craft room.
Sport plays an important part at SSiS. Students participate in ACSIS inter-school football, swimming, tennis and track and field competitions. In addition, SSiS enrolls students in selected tournaments such as the Swiss Ambassador Cup and the VW Cup throughout the year. Once a year we organise our SSiS Sports Day for all students. Cosmo United Football Academy (CUFA) is the partner football CCA provider, responsible for organizing tournaments and the selection of players for ACSIS competitions in line with SSiS policies.
The Swiss School in Singapore provides education according to Swiss standards and criteria and is officially recognised by Bundesamt für Kultur (BAK) as a Swiss Government Approved School. Classes are conducted in either German and English (German Stream) or French and English (French Stream). The learning environment includes a science lab and a library serving both German and English language needs, with air-conditioned classrooms as part of the learning environment.
The SSiS offers a large variety of extracurricular activities for 2025/2026. An ECAs booklet for Semester 1 lists the activities available to students. An ECAs booklet for Semester 2 lists additional activities. ECAs are part of School Life and provide enrichment opportunities beyond regular classes.
