Slovak is taught as a mandatory subject for Slovak-speaking learners to meet the Slovak Ministry of Education standards, and expats can access Slovak language lessons. German is offered as a second language in the Secondary School.

Brilliant Stars International School offers a Cambridge-based curriculum from age 2 to 14 in Bratislava, with a Montessori-inspired approach in the early years.
