Introduction

Lycée Jules Verne is a French AEFE-affiliated international school with two campuses, in Johannesburg and Pretoria, welcoming students from Very Small Section (TPS) through Terminale, ages 2 to 18. Opened in 1992, the school is part of the global AEFE network, delivering education aligned with French programs and guiding students toward the French baccalaureate in 138 countries. The Johannesburg campus serves nursery to Terminale in a modern, green environment with adaptable classrooms, laboratories, a CDI library, and facilities for sport and the arts; the Pretoria campus offers kindergarten through CM2 in a warm, secure setting with modern classrooms, play spaces and sports facilities. The school emphasises laïcité and cultural respect, serving 76 nationalities and a world-facing ethos. A rich AES extracurricular program provides arts, music, theatre, sciences, languages, and wellbeing activities, supervised by qualified instructors, with after-school care and activities coordinated via the Eduka portal.
