St Andrew's College is an independent Anglican boarding school for boys situated in Makhanda (formerly Grahamstown) in the Eastern Cape. The College serves secondary pupils from Grade 8 through to Matric (Grade 12) and offers international qualifications alongside the national route: a Cambridge International A Level stream (AS in Grade 11, A Level in Grade 12) and associated IGCSE subjects, presented as an alternative to the IEB National Senior Certificate. English is the school's working language and the curriculum includes other taught languages such as Afrikaans (IGCSE), isiZulu/isiXhosa and French. The campus supports six boarding houses, the Clapham Jubilee Dining Hall, the Antony Clark Andrean Resource Centre (ARC) and a dedicated outdoor-education facility (Khula Bush Camp). Outdoor education — including the John Jones Fish River Journey — a whole-school leadership programme, formal rites of passage for Matrics, and a broad sports and co‑curricular programme (often delivered in conjunction with the Diocesan School for Girls) are distinctive elements of the College's programme.
