1. Applications for Overseas arrivals are CLOSED for the 2024/2025 academic year. Applications for the 2025/2026 academic year will open on 1st January 2025. In-country applications for the 2024-2025 academic year will close on 22nd May 2024. 2. For each prospective student, an admissions form must be completed by his or her parents. The form is provided for download. 3. The documents required are a current photograph of the student, a copy of the student's most recent school report, and a copy of the student's passport or birth certificate. These documents accompany the admissions form. 4. The Principal will meet all prospective parents and students to discuss their interests and answer any questions they may have about the school. 5. Galle International College is the first Cambridge International School in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka and is Cambridge Accredited. The school serves ages 2 to 18, with two campuses: Little Kids (2–10) and Big Kids (10–18) at 12 Hirimbura Cross Road, Galle. The curriculum follows the English National Curriculum and Cambridge Assessment International Education, delivering Cambridge Primary, Lower Secondary, IGCSE and International A Levels. It operates as an Associate School for Cambridge Examinations and provides Cambridge Checkpoints at the end of Lower Secondary. The campus emphasizes digital technologies, with projectors in every classroom and access to laptops and tablets. After-school activities run from 2:00 pm; some clubs are free and finish by 3:00 pm, with others offered for a term-based fee. Club options fall under Arts and Creative, Cultural and Language, and Lifestyle and Wellbeing, including Mindfulness & Meditation, Reading & Storytime, English Movers & Fliers, Yoga, Drawing, English Beginners, Dance, Ballet, Karate, and Sinhala Dancing.
