Academic and Intellectual

The school provides education based on the English National Curriculum for ages 2 to 18 and is an Associate School for Cambridge International Examinations. It offers Cambridge Lower Secondary, IGCSE and International Advanced Levels (IAL) with Cambridge Assessment International Education, and uses Cambridge Checkpoints at the end of Lower Secondary.

Arts and Creative

Art is taught as a Lower Secondary subject and is available as an IGCSE elective.

Cultural and Language

English is taught as First Language/Literature or English as Second Language; the Cambridge Curriculum for English is followed.

Social and Hobbies

After-School Clubs are being developed; weekly options are available.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

The school hours are Early Years 8:30am–1:00pm; Primary 8:00am–2:00pm; Senior 8:30am–2:30pm. Midday break is staggered by class and lunch begins at 12:15pm. The school uniform is a standing policy. After-School Clubs are available and Physical Education and Swimming are part of the timetable.

Galle International College is the first Cambridge International School in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka and is Cambridge Accredited. The school serves ages 2 to 18, with two campuses: Little Kids (2–10) and Big Kids (10–18) at 12 Hirimbura Cross Road, Galle. The curriculum follows the English National Curriculum and Cambridge Assessment International Education, delivering Cambridge Primary, Lower Secondary, IGCSE and International A Levels. It operates as an Associate School for Cambridge Examinations and provides Cambridge Checkpoints at the end of Lower Secondary. The campus emphasizes digital technologies, with projectors in every classroom and access to laptops and tablets. After-school activities run from 2:00 pm; some clubs are free and finish by 3:00 pm, with others offered for a term-based fee. Club options fall under Arts and Creative, Cultural and Language, and Lifestyle and Wellbeing, including Mindfulness & Meditation, Reading & Storytime, English Movers & Fliers, Yoga, Drawing, English Beginners, Dance, Ballet, Karate, and Sinhala Dancing.
