English is a core subject across the primary and secondary curriculum and the language of instruction in the English-based curriculum. In Primary School, Sinhala and Tamil are taught as additional languages, and French is introduced as a Foundation subject from Key Stage 2. In Secondary School, French is listed among Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 subjects, and Sinhala is offered as a subject; Tamil is taught in Primary School (Key Stage 2) as an additional language.
Gateway College Negombo is a co-educational international school serving ages 2 to 18. Established in 2007, it sits beside the Negombo lagoon and offers a Foundation to Graduation framework from Play Group to Degree Level.
