The Primary and Secondary Schools offer a broad, well-balanced British Curriculum with a strong emphasis on creativity, excellence and enjoyment. Edexcel Pearson Exams are used, and students are prepared for the London O/L and A/L examinations, as well as the National O/L and A/L examinations. A National Curriculum for Year 1 was launched and is effective from September 2025 to provide flexibility in choosing academic pathways. Horizon College International is an international private school in Sri Lanka for ages 2 to 17, with its campus in Malabe and a branch in Nugegoda. It delivers the Edexcel Pearson IGCSE and the British Curriculum, complemented by the British National Curriculum, ICT, French and religious studies (Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam). The curriculum is organized into five sections: Pre-Primary (Montessori methods), Elementary School, Primary, Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary.
