RIMUN is one of the school's most decorated clubs, emphasizing international issues and debate. The Mathematics Club has grown to broaden math participation and has engaged in data analyses like COVID-19 trends. The IT Society develops programming and digital-art skills through intra- and inter-school activities.
The Drama Circle participates in drama competitions and nurtures theatre talent. The Media Club documents school events and develops cinematography and filmmaking skills. An Art Club exists among the creative student groups.
Sinhala Club, Buddhist Society, Hindu Society, and Islamic Society offer cultural and religious platforms. These groups celebrate Sri Lankan culture and foster interfaith dialogue. Dhamma School operates as part of our cultural education.
The Interact Club spans three branches and runs community service projects. The Drama Circle, Media Club, Quiz Club, and IT Society offer varied hobbies and skills. Other active clubs include Astronomy, Young Global Researchers, Little Friends, Social Service Society, Art Club, Debate Club, Sinhala Club, Buddhist Society, Hindu Society, Islamic Society, and Science Society.
Interact Club leads community service projects across branches. Social Service Society participates in service initiatives. The school promotes social responsibility through its clubs.
Interact Club leadership includes Ahmed Noohu (President), Kalindi Gamage (Vice President), and Arosheny Puvanenthirajah (Secretary). RIMUN delegates elect co-presidents Sanara Galhenage and Samathi Rajakaruna (Nugegoda) and Rayhan Malik (Havelock Town). The IT Society is led by President Joanne Sheraiah.
Athletics programs include Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Swimming, Cricket, Football, Karate, Netball, and Table Tennis. Students have achieved championships and medals in Inter International Schools football and Karate, and national-level swimming successes. The school encourages overall well-being through diverse sports and athletic competitions.
Royal Institute International School in Colombo, Sri Lanka, is a private international school educating students from ages 2 to 18.
