Wycherley International School, situated in Cinnamon Gardens, Colombo, operates from a 1972 heritage building that originally housed Dr. R.L. Spittel’s nursing home. Founded in 1985, it is a co-educational day school delivering the Cambridge Pathway from Early Years through to A-Levels. Instruction is entirely in English, with Sinhala, Tamil, French, and German taught as language subjects. The school is known for its strong Model United Nations (WISMUN) tradition, which trains delegates in international diplomacy, and distinctive groups like the Aviation Club, which coordinates field visits to local airports. Students have access to science laboratories, computer centers, and dedicated art spaces. The senior section is housed separately on Queen's Road to give older students their own learning environment.
