French Club offers opportunities to practise conversational French and explore Francophone culture, celebrating events such as French National Day and a Music Festival. Hindu Society promotes understanding of Hindu culture with Navarathri celebrations and weekly religious time on Fridays. Islamic Society promotes faith and unity through weekly Jummah prayers and inter-school competitions, with events such as the Inter-Wycherley Islamic Competition and Mas-Al-Barakah.
Wycherley offers a range of social and hobby activities including the Aviation Club, which runs workshops on RC planes and aviation management and arranges field visits to airports; the Media Club, formed in 2022 to train students in public speaking and event management; and the Heritage Club, which engages with Sri Lanka's history through educational visits. The Choir and Western Band provide musical performance opportunities, while Hewisi Band involves middle school musicians in school events.
Interact Club is a student-led organization dedicated to community service and leadership development, with projects and district-level representation. The Environmental Club promotes sustainability and has funded scholarships through the Elephant Scholarship Fund and organized conservation activities. The Student Christian Movement holds weekly sessions on Fridays with worship and fellowship, enriching students' spiritual lives and community.
Model UN Club (WISMUN) was established in January 2023 and has earned national and international awards, highlighting leadership and diplomacy. Interact Club leads community service and leadership initiatives; Commerce and Business Club provides practical business skills through simulations, financial literacy, and engagement with local entrepreneurs; Debate Club has represented Wycherley at national English debating events.
Wycherley offers extensive sports programs including Athletics, Basketball, Cricket, Karate, Netball, Soccer and Swimming, with regular practices and competitive participation. The school embraces a 'healthy mind in a healthy body' philosophy and supports wellness through its athletics program. The Buddhist Society fosters mental well-being and moral values through weekly sessions.
Wycherley International School Colombo is an international Cambridge curriculum school serving students aged 3 to 18. It is the first and only comprehensive Sri Lankan school following the Cambridge Curriculum from UKG (Year 1) through Grade 12. Cambridge Early Years, Cambridge Primary, Lower and Upper Secondary, Cambridge IGCSE or O Level, and Cambridge International AS & A Levels are taught within a continuous programme. English is the language of instruction, with Sinhala, Tamil, French and German offered to support an international education. Established in 1985, it has campuses in Dehiwala and Gampaha, including Gampaha site with a 25-meter pool, sports courts and modern laboratories.
