Deutsche Schule Stockholm is a German international school in Stockholm serving ages 1 to 18. It follows the German curriculum and offers the German International Abitur (DIA) alongside the Swedish Abschlusszeugnis. The kindergarten is bilingual in Swedish and German, with Grundschule (classes 0–4) before Gymnasium from class 5. From year 4, all students study English; French is available from year 6 and Latin from year 8. The DIA allows up to 50 percent of Abitur subjects to be examined in Swedish. The school has a history spanning more than 400 years; German language instruction and examinations resumed after World War II in 1953. Facilities include a bilingual Kindergarten at Karlavägen 25 and a fourth-floor MINT area with a MINT Lounge, sensors, a 3D printer, electronics, and a workshop for project-based learning. Freizeitheim provides after-school care for preschool to class 3. The school describes itself as a Begegnungsschule fostering cross-cultural exchange between German and Swedish cultures.

Germany
The Kindergarten is open Monday–Friday 07:30–17:15, with closing at 15:00 on the first Monday of the month. The daily structure includes breakfast and free play, guided activities, language groups (German and Swedish), time outdoors, lunch and a rest period, and free play.
Deutsche Schule Stockholm teaches German Curriculum for students aged 1 to 18.
Kindergarten is bilingual in Swedish and German, promoting the development of both languages and providing insights into the cultures, customs and traditions of both countries. Grundschule (Classes 0-4) is offered. The German Gymnasium begins in Class 5, unlike the Swedish system, and differs in aims and pace. The school offers the German International Abitur and the Swedish final certificate.

Part 1 – Förskoleklass: Personal data is submitted online from Monday in calendar week 40 at 08:00 to calendar week 5. Part 2 – Form 2 is printed and signed. Part 3 – Personal certificate for study is ordered from Skatteverket and must not be older than three months. Upload Part 2 and Part 3 via the registration form link; the application becomes valid only after all documents have been received and confirmed by email; documents submitted before calendar week 40 are not considered.
Part 2 – Åk 1: Personal data/registration is online from Monday in calendar week 3 at 08:00 to calendar week 11. Part 2 – Blankett 2 is required (only for students who have not attended Förskoleklass at Tyska Skolan). Part 3 – Agreement between guardians, student and Tyska Skolan for enrollment in 2026 (only for students who have not attended Förskoleklass at Tyska Skolan). Part 4 – Personal certificate for study (must be from Skatteverket, not older than 3 months). Upload Parts 2–4 via the registration form link; the application is valid only after all documents have been received and confirmed by email; documents submitted before calendar week 03 are not considered.
Part 3 – Årskurs 2–11: Personal data (online form) is available from calendar week 11 to 15. Part 2 – Agreement between guardians, student and Tyska Skolan. Part 3 – Personalbevis, ändamål studier. Upload Parts 2–3 via the registration form link; the application is valid only after all documents have been received and confirmed by email; documents submitted before calendar week 11 are not considered.
Förskoleklass: There is a waiting list (queue) with priority for siblings. The waiting list operates from Monday of calendar week 40 at 08:00 during the application year, and spaces may become available if a pupil leaves at the end of a school year, allocated according to the admissions criteria. Two classes are offered per year with up to 23 pupils per class. Årskurs 2–11: There is no waiting list. Applications are accepted only during calendar weeks 11–15 for the upcoming school year, and no waiting list is maintained.
